REGISTERING WITH US

FEES, SESSIONS & OPENING TIMES

To add your child(ren) to our no obligation Waiting List, please email us your child's full name, date of birth and home address, as well as the name of a parent to contact with a phone number. Tish will confirm the details with you and will discuss sessions and start dates from that point.

We take children from 2 years old up until their Reception Year, in some instances we can accept children due to start their Reception Year, this must be agreed with the local authority.

We invite all families for an initial visit during our working hours so you can meet us all in our working environment.

Following this, if you would like your child to attend Playmates, we will offer you a

telephone conversation

with a senior staff

member, who will book

a Stay & Play session.

A parent or

guardian will come in

and stay with their child for half an hour. This gives us an idea of how your child might settle in, and

gives parents/guardians an opportunity to discuss any concerns with their child's proposed Keyperson.

IS MY CHILD FUNDED?

Term time only placements (for children leaving us in the next September only) qualify for 15 hours of funding for the 38 academic weeks.

For children attending all-year (not term time only) the funding hours reduce from 15 hours to 11 hours a week and, those qualifying for the extended funding, from 30 hours to 22 hours a week, spread over the entire year.

3 & 4 year olds - Every child qualifies for the 15 or 11 hours of funding per week from the start of the term AFTER they turn 3 years old.

If both parents (or a single parent) work over 16 hours per week, they can apply to the HMRC to access 22 hours of funding.

2 year olds - Parents who are on certain benefits can claim 11 hours per week of free entitlement funding for 2-year-olds.

The terms are September 1st to December 31st, January 1st to March 31st and April 1st to 31st August.
