Welcome to our Parents' Zone
This page is full of information for our current families but is also a snapshot for prospective parents to see the kind of opportunities we offer our children.
It contains news and events, themes, payment information, funding details and anything else we feel is useful to know.
To see what we've been up to on a daily basis check out our facebook page by clicking the Facebook logo below.
Send a request to join our Parents' Facebook Group which is private and monitored. Joining information is in your Welcome Letter.
Our enrollment process is slightly different at the moment with senior staff providing a welcome call to all new families. This is an opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns and begin to book dates and times for their first days with us.
OUR USUAL ENROLMENT PROCESS
Add your child to our Waiting List.
When a suitable space becomes available, you will be contacted to arrange a Stay & Play session.
The Stay & Play lasts for 1 hour and a parent/carer stays. You must bring your child's birth certificate or passport, their red health record book and a household utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 3 months. You will meet your child's keyworker, complete the registration information and agree a suitable start date.
We use an online portal system to share children's learning directly with their family. This gives families access to their keyworker and the children's real-time experiences.
We encourge parents/carers to contribute so we have an accurate record of the children's stages of development.
This term we will be celebrating the Spring season and exploring how things grow and change.
To help our children understand we have some caterpillars visiting us so the children can witness their various stages of change and development into butterflies.
When they are ready we will release them together in the garden.
"WHY NOT SEND IN A BABY PHOTO OF YOUR CHILD SO WE
CAN MAKE A DISPLAY TO SHOW HOW MUCH WE'VE ALL CHANGED"
This board will display some of the topics we have covered in recent weeks or coming up.
Most of our learning is led by the children's interests and ideas, mixed with a range of festivals and celebrations from around the World.
As we have several children attending with English not being their first language, we ensure everyone explores different ways to communicate effectively and encourage all the children to join in together, using key words and sign language.
