Dedicated areas
We provide separate areas for our 2 year olds and 3+ year old children to offer appropriate environments for each age/ability group.
This enables us to ensure each child is accessing activities in a safe environment with staff specifically trained to support their age group.

Our full year contract is 51 weeks (we close for 1 week at Christmas).

Staffing our Setting
The Bungalow
This is the largest area and provides a homely feel for our older children to access activities that will stimulate and encourage exploration.
Staff provide a semi-structured environment of learning to enable our older children to be ready for primary school, including: writing skills, counting, problem solving and team building exercises.
The Cabin
Our self-contained Cabin area offers our younger children an appropriate nurturing environment with lots of sensory play opportunities. We are confident that your 2 year olds will enjoy exploring and accessing the resources to prepare them for graduation into the Bungalow when they are ready.
Both areas have their own outdoor play areas and our Cabin children also get to explore the larger garden area.
Due to our high staff to child ratio, our children often go for walks around the School premises or into the Town. This gives us the opportunity to learn about our environment, collect natural resources and discuss the world around us.

Opening hours
We charge £8.00 per hour of unfunded care regardless of the chlld's age.
We ask for a voluntary fee to cover our snack, nappies, wipes, laundry, sun-cream and nappy cream at a rate of £1 per session.
Late payment of fees are charged at £10.00 or 10% per week (whichever is greater).
Late collection fees are charged at £15.00 initial fee + £2 per minute.

We are open between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm for full day care or sessional care.
The Bungalow is open for full days or morning sessions 8.00am - midday. Afternoon session is 12.30pm - 4.30pm.
The Cabin is open for a regular *full day of 9.00am - 3.30pm or morning session is 9.00am - midday. Afternoon session is 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
*An hour can be added at the beginning of the day if required, 8.00am - 9.00am.
Also, for the afternoon session, 3.30pm - 4.30pm.
We understand we are only as good as our team of staff so we select the best practitioners who believe in our ethos of giving children the very best start in their early education and care. Staff are continually encouraged to seek training to support their individual roles and feel confident in delivering the best service to all children.
